YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. There are closed roads in Armenia. The road linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province of the Republic of Armenia is closed.
According to the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the curves of Spitak are closed to truck.
Snowfall has been observed in the Ashotsk region of Shirak Province, the Aragats region, and the cities of Aparan, Hrazdan, Vanadzor, Tashir, Spitak, and Stepanavan, as well as in the curves of the Spitak highway.
Foggy conditions are reported in the Tavush region, Chambarak city, the Aragats region, and the highlands of Syunik Province.
The Rescue Service has cautioned drivers to travel using exclusively winter tires.
The Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to all types of vehicles, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in North Ossetia.
