YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has presented the main directions of Armenia-EU cooperation in 2025.
Speaking at a joint press conference in Yerevan with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, President Khachaturyan said 2024 was a unique year in terms of cooperation between Armenia and the EU because the two sides started joint work under two new programs – the provision of aid to Armenia through the European Peace Facility and the launch of visa liberalization dialogue. Khachaturyan said Armenia wants to discuss security issues with the EU as well.
“We see our work with the EU in 2025 within the framework of these issues, during Poland’s presidency in the EU Council,” Khachaturyan said, expressing confidence that the joint work will be successful because Armenia has always felt Poland’s support in various initiatives in the work with the European Union.
