YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. After assuming EU Council presidency Poland intends to implement all assumed obligations, including to make efforts to advance the EU visa liberalization process for Armenian citizens, President of Poland Andrzej Duda has said.
At a joint press conference with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Andrzej Duda was asked on Warsaw’s opportunities to support the visa liberalization dialogue between the EU and Armenia, which was launched in September 2024.
President Duda said Poland will assume the EU Council presidency in 2025 and their priority will be the implementation of all actions that are aimed at this process.
“If we speak about visa liberalization, this is also directly linked to the decisions that are made by the EU bodies, and Poland will have the opportunity to make decisions there as well,” President Duda said.
He said Poland will make efforts to implement all obligations that it will assume.
