Andranik Avetisyan wins gold at World Military Wrestling Championships, bringing Armenia medal count to 7

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Andranik Avetisyan won gold by defeating North Korea’s Kwang Jin Kim 9:7 at the World Military Wrestling Championships, bringing Armenia’s total medal count to 7 on Day 1 of the tournament.

Suren Aghajanyan and Gaspar Terteryan had also won gold. Sargis Begoyan won silver, while Hrachya Poghosyan and Ashot Khachatryan won bronze. In the women’s division, Elen Babajanyan won silver.
