YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has described Poland as an important and reliable partner.
“It’s an honor to host you, your excellency, in the Republic of Armenia,” Khachaturyan told visiting President of Poland Andrzej Duda at a joint press conference on Tuesday.
“The Armenian-Polish relationship is based on historical close interactions and steadily developing interstate ties anchored on common values. Your official visit once again attests to the friendship between the two peoples and the significance of the Armenia-Poland cooperation. I am glad that today we had an opportunity to productively discuss bilateral cooperation in various areas and to outline promising directions of further mutual cooperation. I am sure that the agreements reached during your visit will convey new quality to bilateral ties,” the Armenian President said.
Khachaturyan thanked the people and government of Poland for the caring and warm attitude and reception towards the Armenian community of Poland.
President Khachaturyan stressed that Armenia highly values the current level of the bilateral cooperation with Poland.
“Poland, as the next president of the EU Council, the architect of Eastern partnership, is an important and reliable partner for Armenia both in bilateral and multilateral formats, particularly in the context of Armenia-EU. Parliamentary diplomacy is an important component of political dialogue and the active partnership between the legislative bodies of our countries deserves praise,” Khachaturyan said.
