YEREVAN, November 23. /ARKA/. In an interview with Armenia's Public Television, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed his conversation with former U.S. President Donald Trump.
On November 16 Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump. According to the government press service, the Prime Minister congratulated Trump on his election victory and provided him with an update on the development and current state of Armenia-U.S. relations in recent years. The discussion also covered issues related to the regional agenda.
"My tenure as Prime Minister partially coincided with President Trump's first term. After that, the U.S. had a change in president. My main task was to present the developments that took place in Armenia-U.S. relations during this period, as well as in the peace process and the region. In short, I can say that the phone conversation was informative and very positive," Pashinyan said. -0-
